While running collegiate cross country, I developed a serious overuse injury called compartment syndrome. One year after diagnosis, I underwent surgery to try and fix this issue, but the operation only left me with worsening symptoms and severe nerve pain. As I began working towards recovery, many doctors/therapists set limits on my future capabilities, telling me I’d have to settle for a life managing chronic pain.
I refused to believe them. Instead, I focused my energy on learning many new techniques to move away from chronic pain and achieve my goal of becoming an elite level athlete. With routines in MOVEMENT, STRENGTH & NUTRITION, I’ve been able to achieve this, now racing in professional gravel. My mission is to keep growing as an athlete, share my journey through video, and inspire people to break through their own perceived limits.
